Sam is testing the waters of our building's swimming pool. He really enjoyed splashing, especially trying to aim the splashing at his mom!

Here we are having dinner in Jersey City.


Cousin Jake is Sam's style icon. At least when it comes to how to wear his baseball hat.

Sam must be thinking about something profound. Like how to achieve world peace.

Noa's new sister, a new baby Zia Snook came to visit as well. Of course, she couldn't wait to join Sammy's reading club!

A walk in the park

Sammy really enjoys his walks in the park, especially sliding off the huge metal balls on the playground.

Turns out that climbing on benches is waaaay fun, too!

All this fresh air worked out Sam's appetite - for that, what's better than stuffing one's face with crepes?


Fed child = happy child.

Tax Season

Sam is preparing for the tax season: "Since I do my "business" into my diapers, can I claim the diapers as a business expense tax deduction? What about depreciation expense on my pacifiers - some of them are kind of chewed up from a lot of wear and tear."

Sam decided that if sleeping with one pacifier is good, sleeping with two pacifiers has got to be great!

Over a meal of crackers, a nice conversation with a lady friend while out on a hike...

Hiking enthusiast

Sam really enjoyed running around the hiking trails in this nature preserve in Chatham, NJ. He did a complete trail of more than half a mile :)


Checking out the visitors' center. The most interesting part of it for Sam turned out to be the front steps.


Sam, like any serious hiker, needs to take breaks to preserve his strength!
