Truro and Provincelands, Cape Cod National Seashore, MA (August)

Enjoying the deck outside Province Lands visitor center
Sam earned both a badge and a patch, after doing several activities over 2 days (a ranger-led tour about the animals in the wetlands, a workbook, a lighthouse, and a museum)
View of the old life saving station on the beach
Wetlands
At the hotel
Vic and Elena touring Penniman House, from the end of the 19th century, which belonged to a captain of a whaling ship
Highland Lighthouse
Sam loved climbing this lighthouse
At the top, a great view of the beach and dunes
Highland light was built in 1797, but had to be moved 100 feet inland in 1996 because of erosion.
